The tower which can be seen from here, is one of a number of towers found in Zejtun and its environs, in particular along the route to St Thomas Bay.  Close to this tower there was another one, which was built by Klement Tabone. This however collapsed and parts of it were recycled in the building of a rural structure found in these fields.
